closeup of a black and white bitmap rendering of a Renneisance fresco painting, a person with their skin ripped off sits with their arms open to the viewer Handwritten text
Handwritten text: A person site in the bottom left corner. They have been skinned, and nothing is left besiddes some skin and muscle tissue. I notice that his face has been rubbed out. It looks intentional, the dark cliff behind him makes the pale spot where his face should have been stand out, a train of something missing. He holds his hands up in front of him, his arms liften and the palms of his hands *crossed out* half facing the viewer, half away. A movement away from prayer, half away from reaching up to search for his missing head. Chest open. Hands open. A watermark has been repeatedly places across the image skating “akg images”. The scene is supposed to Represent the worst imaginable fate for a human, a work of *crossed out* *crossed out* punishment, something divine and unforgiving, but when i look at it, I can’t help but see a beauty in the interactions. The horror is in the faces but the bodies as they twist together, muscular and baked, feels queer and sexual.
